The Feast of Tabernacles
(Sukkot or Succoth)
and
The Last Great Day
(Judgement Day)
This message is not your standard Holy Days message. The Spiritually revealed concept of physical to Spiritual parallels are employed here. This message reveals prophetic, as well as, the personal meaning behind "The Feast of Temporary Dwellings (aka Feast of Tabernacles, Booths, Succoth, Sukkot, Fall Harvest, and Feast of Ingathering)."
Sukkot ("The Feast of Temporary Dwellings") is the third of four special annual High Sabbaths that occur during the Sacred Seventh Month on Yahweh's Sacred Calendar. This Sabbath Day occurs on the first day of a seven day period, which is immediately followed by an eighth day (an additional day) which is, also, the Last Annual Sabbath on Yahweh's Sacred Calendar. This final High Sabbath is simply known as "The Last Great Day." The first and eighth days of Sukkot are solemn assemblies, but the period in between is a "Joyous" occasion for those who wear the "Mark of Yahweh" or "Shema," and just like "The Feast of Trumpets," and "The Day of Atonement" it is a prophetic foretaste of the events that are to occur in the latter days as recorded primarily in the Book of Revelation in chapters 20 - 22. Remember, all of Yahweh's Annual "High Sabbaths" are designed by Yahweh to teach those of us with "Ears to Hear" and "Eyes to See" about the True "Plan of Salvation." All annual High Sabbaths are physical examples or precursors of Spiritual Truths, and as such are to be used as Yahweh established them. To say they are no longer necessary is the same as saying they were never necessary. Don't be fooled! They serve Yahweh's purpose for those with "Eyes to See" and "Ears to Hear."
The Precursor to Spiritual Truth
(The Physical Example)
Leviticus 23:33-36,39-43.
33 Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
34 Speak to the children of (Jacob) Israel (Abraham's physical and Spiritual Seed through Isaac and Jacob, not Ishmael), saying, On the fifteenth day of this seventh month is the "Feast of Booths" (Succoth or Sukkat) for seven days to Yahweh.
Note: There are two very strong Spiritual implications here for those of us with eyes to see and ears to hear. The first is with the use of various tree branches, and second is with the Spiritual implication of "Temporary Dwellings," which I will soon reveal.
Note: Traditionally the Sukkah is a three sided hut, that is open on one side. The Messiah was born in a Sukkah (temporary dwelling) during Sukkat (Succoth or Feast of Temporary Dwellings or Tabernacles).
(Strongs #5521, cukkah or Sukkah, a hut made of entwined tree branches or boughs).
35 On the first day shall be a Holy convocation: you shall do no servile work.
36 Seven days you shall offer an offering made by fire to Yahweh: on the eighth day shall be a Holy convocation to you; and you shall offer an offering made by fire to Yahweh: it is a solemn assembly; you shall do no servile work.
Note: An Offering made by Fire, also, has a strong Spiritual implication, as this offering was (and is) a physical parallel to the Spiritual Truth, which is to offer yourself as an offering made by fire to Yahweh by following in the Spiritual footsteps of Messiah Yahshua (Luke 3:16, 1 Corinthians 3:11-17, Malachi 3:1-3). However, we should, also, maintain the physical symbolism! It is a Statute forever!
39 However, on the fifteenth day of the (Sacred) seventh month (precursor to the Sabbath Millennium), when you have gathered in (also called "Feast of Ingathering") the (First) fruits of the land, you shall keep Yahweh's feast seven days: on the first day shall be a solemn rest, and on the eighth day shall be a solemn rest.
40 You shall take on the first day the fruit of Goodly Trees, branches of palm trees, and boughs of thick trees, and willows of the brook; and you shall rejoice before Yahweh your G-d seven days.
Note: There is even greater symbolism on this subject in Leviticus 23:40, as the fruit of goodly trees is a direct parallel of the "Tree of Life" in Revelation 22:2 of which each True Worshipper is a Spiritual Reflection (made in YHWH's Loving Spiritual Image). The True "Tree of Life" is none other than Yahweh Himself. Yahweh's True Worshippers are none other than a Spiritual reflection of YHWH's Spiritual image, therefore Yahweh's Chosen Few are represented as "Goodly Trees;" Goodly Fruit Bearing Trees! Just the same as the "Tree of Life," which is depicted as bearing twelve kinds of fruit, with leaves that heal nations.
Revelation 22:1-2
He shown me a river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of G-d and of the Lamb,
2 in the midst of its street. On this side of the river and on that was the tree of life, bearing twelve kinds of fruits, yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
Nehemiah 8:14-18
14 They found written in the law, how that Yahweh had commanded by Moses, that the children of Israel should dwell in booths (Strongs #5521, cukkah, temporary dwellings) in the (Full Moon) feast of the seventh month;
15 and that they should publish and proclaim in all their cities, and in Jerusalem, saying, Go forth to the mountain, and get olive branches (Hebrew Believers), and branches of wild olive (Repentant Hebrew Believers), and myrtle (Gentile Believers) branches, and palm (Gentile Believers) branches, and branches of (various) thick trees (Gentile Believers), to make booths, as it is written.
Romans 11:16-27
16 If the First Fruit is Holy, so is the lump. If the root is Holy, so are the branches.
17 But if some of the (olive) branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive, were grafted in among them, and became partaker with them of the root of the richness of the olive tree;
18 don't boast over the branches. But if you boast, it is not you who bear the root, but the root you.
19 You will say then, "Branches were broken off, that I might be grafted in."
20 True; by their unbelief they were broken off, and you stand by your faith. Don't be conceited, but fear;
21 for if G-d didn't spare the natural branches, neither will he spare you.
22 See then the goodness and severity of G-d. Toward those who fell, severity; but toward you, goodness, if you continue in His goodness; otherwise you, also, will be cut off (Obviously "Once Saved / Grafted Always Saved / Grafted" is a lie).
23 They also, if they don't continue in their unbelief, will be grafted in, for Yahweh is able to graft them in again.
24 For if you were cut out of that which is by nature a wild olive tree, and were grafted contrary to (Selfish Human) nature into a good (selfless) olive tree, how much more will these, which are the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree?
25 For I don't desire, brothers, to have you ignorant of this mystery, so that you won't be wise in your own conceits, that a hardening in part has happened to Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in,
26 and so all Israel will be saved. Even as it is written, "There will come out of Zion the Deliverer, And he will turn away ungodliness from Jacob (Israel).
27 This is my covenant to them, When I will take away their sins."
16 So the people went forth, and brought them, and made themselves booths (Temporary Dwellings), everyone on the roof of his house, and in their courts, and in the courts of the house of G-d, and in the broad place of the water gate, and in the broad place of the gate of Ephraim.
17 All the assembly of those who were come again out of the captivity made booths (Sukkot), and lived in the booths (Sukkot); for since the days of Joshua, the son of Nun, to that day the children of Israel had not done so. There was very great gladness.
18 Also day by day, from the first day to the last day, he read in the book of the law of G-d. They kept the feast seven days; and on the eighth day was a solemn assembly, according to the ordinance.
(Leviticus 23 continued)
41 You shall keep it a feast to Yahweh seven days in the year (annual): it is a statute forever throughout your generations; you shall keep it in the seventh (Sacred Sabbath) month.
42 You shall dwell in booths (Sukkahs) seven days; all who are home-born in Israel shall dwell in booths (Sukkot or Sukkahs);
43 that your generations may know that I made the children of Israel to dwell in booths (temporary dwelling), when I brought them out of the land of Egypt: I am Yahweh your G-d.
"The Temporary Dwellings"
(Sukkahs)
So what are the Spiritual implications of "The Temporary Dwellings?"
If you haven't already figured it out, it is simply this. All human beings exist in temporary dwellings (human flesh) all of their natural lives. Those temporary dwellings being the various physical appearances of the various human bodies (red and yellow, black and white). And while the physical bodies (flesh) of all human beings can be compared to the physical appearance of the various types of trees, not all human beings can be compared to "Goodly Trees." All Goodly Trees (True Worshippers; John 4:22-24) are the temporary dwelling places of Yahweh's Holy Spirit. Which is just another one of Yahweh's "Physical to Spiritual Parallels." Get used to it, YHVH speaks to us through "Physical to Spiritual Parallels" (allegories and anthropomorphisms) It is Yahweh's preferred method of reaching out to those of us with "Ears to Hear, and Eyes to See" (Romans 1:20).
Physical to Spiritual parallels or Anthropomorphisms
Romans 1:20-23
20 For the invisible (Spiritual) things of Him (YHVH) since the creation of the world are clearly seen (to those with "Eyes to See"), being perceived through the (physical) things that are made, even His everlasting power and divinity; that they (unbelievers/idolators) may be without excuse,
21 Because, knowing G-d, they didn't glorify him as (a Spiritual) G-d, neither gave thanks, but became vain in their reasoning, and their senseless heart was darkened.
Note: They wrongly perceived the physical examples of Spiritual Truths to be gods or legalities, when by Righteous Design they were actually "Physical to Spiritual Parallels" or truths. Therefore they say that the Ten Commandments were nailed on the cross, and that Jesus and the Holy Spirit are part of a Trinity; when Yahweh clearly states that he is ONE (a lone G-d). Those that do not keep Yahweh's Holy Sabbaths Holy will never truly understand physical to Spiritual Parallels.
22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
23 and traded the glory of the incorruptible (Spiritual) G-d (Yahweh) for the (physical) likeness of an (a physical) image (human and other idols) of (physically) corruptible man (saints, gods, Jesus, etc...), and of (physical) birds, and four-footed (physical) animals, and (physically) creeping things.
"The Prophetic Implications"
Concerning "The Plan of Salvation" in the "Latter Days"
Revelation 20:4-6 (The Sabbath Millennium begins)
4 I saw thrones, and they (the Chosen Few or First Fruits) sat on them, and judgment was given to them (power to judge). I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for the testimony of Messiah Yahshua, and for the word of G-d, and such as didn't worship the beast nor his image, and didn't receive the mark on their forehead and on their hand. They lived (after the First Resurrection), and reigned with Messiah one thousand years (Sabbath Millennium or during the Seventh 1000 years after Adam & Eve).
5 The rest of the dead didn't live until the (seventh) thousand (Sabbath Millennium) years were finished. This is the first resurrection (prior to the Sabbath Millennium).
6 Blessed and Holy is he (any of the Chosen Few) who has part in the first resurrection. Over these (Chosen Few), the second death has no power, but they will be priests of G-d and of Messiah, and will reign with him one thousand (Sabbath Millennium) years.
Matthew 5:1-14 (The Chosen Few)
Seeing the multitudes, he went up onto a mountain. When he had sat down, his disciples came to him.
2 He opened his mouth and taught them, saying,
3 "Blessed are the poor in spirit (Chosen Few), for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven (on Earth during the Sabbath Millennium).
4 "Blessed are those (Chosen Few) who mourn, for they shall be comforted (by Yahweh).
5 "Blessed are the humble (Chosen Few), for they shall inherit (the Kingdom of Yahweh, which is presently in heaven, but is coming to) The Earth.
6 "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness (Chosen Few), for they shall be filled (be righteous).
7 "Blessed are the merciful (Chosen Few), for they shall obtain (Yahweh's) mercy.
8 "Blessed are the pure in heart (Chosen Few), for they shall see G-d (Yahweh).
9 "Blessed are the peacemakers (Chosen Few), for they shall be called sons of G-d (Yahweh).
10 "Blessed are those who have been persecuted for righteousness' sake (Chosen Few), for theirs is the Kingdom (New Jerusalem) of Heaven (on Earth during the Sabbath Millennium).
11 "Blessed are you when people reproach you, persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
12 "Rejoice, and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward (presently located) in heaven. For that is how they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
13 You are the salt of The Earth (the world), but if the salt has lost its flavor, what will it be salted with? It is then good for nothing, but to be cast out and trodden under the feet of men.
14 You are the light of the world (the Earth). A city (New Jerusalem) set on a hill can't be hid.
Revelation 21:1-11 (The Kingdom of Yahweh on Earth)
I saw a new heaven (atmosphere) and a new earth: for the first heaven (atmosphere) and the first earth have passed away, and the (first and only) sea is no more.
2 I saw the Holy City, New Jerusalem (Kingdom of Yahweh), coming down out of heaven (the sky) from Yahweh, made ready as a bride adorned for her husband.
Note: The New Jerusalem (the light of the world) OR Kingdom of Yahweh is not just a physical city as depicted in symbolism, but those True Worshippers of Yahweh, who are of "Like Mind" (Holy Spirit) that inhabit the New Earth. Those that did not break their covenant (marriage vows) with Yahweh, because of their obedience through love for Yahweh and His righteousness (to Yahweh's COMMANDMENTS of LOVE). This is not to say they were people perfected in righteousness prior to the First Resurrection, but people who did hunger and thirst for righteousness (Matthew 5:6). Now they are filled!
3 I heard a loud voice out of heaven saying, "Behold, G-d's tabernacle (tent) is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and G-d himself will be with them as their G-d.
4 He will wipe away every tear from their eyes (Matthew 5:4). Death will be no more; neither will there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain, any more. The first things have passed away (Atmosphere, Earth, Sea or gas, solid, liquid).
5 He (Yahweh) who sits on the throne said, "Behold, I make all things new." He said, "Write, for these words are faithful and true."
6 He said to me, "It is done! (a done deal) I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give freely to him who is thirsty (for Righteousness) from the spring of the water of life.
Note: Yahweh does NOT say, "He who is already filled with righteousness (perfection)," but he who is thirsty (Matthew 5:6).
7 He who overcomes (Matthew 10:22 ; "endures to the end"), I will give him these things. I will be his G-d, and he will be my son (one of the First Fruits).
8 But for the cowardly, unbelieving, sinners, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their part is in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur (lava, magma), which is the second death (a physical death for physical people)."
9 One of the seven messengers (Aggelos) who had the seven bowls, who were laden with the seven last plagues came, and he spoke with me, saying, "Come here. I will show you the wife, the Lamb's bride."
10 He carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain (a city on a hill cannot be hid), and shown me the Holy City, (New) Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven (the sky) from Yahweh,
11 having the glory of G-d. Her light was like a most precious stone, as if it was (similar to) a jasper stone, clear as crystal;
Revelation 22:7-14 (The Messenger speaks for Yahweh)
7 "Behold, I (Yahweh, giver of the message) come quickly. Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book."
Note: Sometimes the Messenger (Aggelos) speaks "The Message" for Yahweh and sometimes he speaks righteous words according to the Holy Spirit of Yahweh. However, the messenger is NOT Yahweh.
8 Now I, John, am the one who heard (the message) and saw these things. When I heard and saw, I fell down to worship before the feet of the messenger (Aggelos) who shown me these things.
9 He (the messenger) said to me, "See you don't do it! I (the messenger) am a fellow bondservant (not Yahweh) with you and with your brothers, the prophets, and with those who keep the words of this book. Worship G-d" (not me).
10 He (the messenger) said to me, "Don't seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is at hand.
11 He who acts unjustly, let him act unjustly still. He who is filthy, let him be filthy still. He who is righteous, let him do righteousness still. He who is Holy, let him be Holy still."
12 "Behold, I (Yahweh, not messenger) come quickly. My reward is with me, to repay to each man according to his work.
13 I (Yahweh, giver of the message) am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.
14 Blessed are those who do His (Yahweh's) commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter in by the gates into the city (New Jerusalem).
Isaiah 65:8-25 (The Sabbath Millennium on Earth)
8 Thus says Yahweh, As the new wine is found in the cluster, and one says, Don't destroy it, for a blessing is in it: so will I do for my servants' sake, that I may not destroy them all.
9 I will bring forth a (Spiritual) seed out of Jacob (Israel), and out of Judah an inheritor (The Messiah) of my mountains; and My chosen (Few) shall inherit it, and my servants (True Worshippers) shall dwell there (on Earth).
10 Sharon (the place) shall be a fold of flocks, and the valley of Achor a place for herds to lie down in, for my people (The First Fruits) who have sought me.
11 But you who forsake Yahweh, who forget my Holy mountain (New Jerusalem), who prepare a table for Fortune, and who fill up mingled wine to Destiny;
12 I will destine you to the sword, and you shall all bow down to the slaughter; because when I called, you did not answer; when I spoke, you did not hear; but you did that which was evil in my eyes, and chose that in which I didn't delight.
13 Therefore thus says the L_rd Yahweh, Behold, My servants shall eat, but you shall be hungry; behold, My servants shall drink, but you shall be thirsty; behold, My servants shall rejoice, but you shall be put to shame;
14 behold, My servants shall sing for joy of heart, but you shall cry for sorrow of heart, and shall wail for vexation of spirit.
15 You shall leave your name for a curse to My chosen (Few); and the L_rd Yahweh will kill you; and he will call His servants by another name:
16 so that he who blesses himself in the earth shall bless himself in the G-d of truth; and he who swears in the earth shall swear by the G-d of truth; because the former troubles are forgotten, and because they are hid from my eyes.
17 For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; and the former things shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.
18 But be you glad and rejoice forever in that which I create; for, behold, I create (New) Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.
19 I will rejoice in (New) Jerusalem, and joy in my people; and there shall be heard in her no more the voice of weeping and the voice of crying.
20 There shall be no more there an infant of days, nor an old man who has not filled his days; for the child shall die one hundred years old, and the sinner being one hundred years old shall be accursed (Judged Guilty).
Note: This 100 year period at the "End of The Sabbath Millennium" is symbolized by "The Last Great Day" of Sukkot.
21 They shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them.
22 They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat: for as the days of a tree shall be the days of My people, and My chosen shall long enjoy the work of their hands.
23 They shall not labor in vain, nor bring forth for calamity; for they are the seed of the blessed of Yahweh, and their offspring with them.
24 It shall happen that, before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.
25 The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the ox; and dust shall be the serpent's food. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my Holy mountain (New Jerusalem), says Yahweh.
The Great White Throne Judgement Day
The Second Resurrection to physical life
and
The Second Physical Death
Revelation 20:7-15
7 And after the thousand years (Sabbath Millennium), Satan (Azazel) will be freed out of his prison (The Wilderness or abyss),
8 and will come forth to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to the war; the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.
9 They went up over the breadth of the earth, and surrounded the camp of the saints, and the beloved city (New Jerusalem the light of the world). Fire came down out of heaven (the Sky), and devoured them.
10 The devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur (lava or magma), where are also the beast and the false prophet. They (only) will be tormented day and night forever and ever.
11 I saw a Great White Throne, and him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. There was found no place for them.
12 I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne. Books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The (Spiritually) dead were judged out of the things which were written in the books, according to their works.
13 The sea gave up the dead who were in it. Death and Hades (the grave) gave up the dead who were in them. They were judged, each one according to his works.
14 Death and Hades (The Grave) were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire (lava or magma).
15 If anyone was not found written in the book of life, he was cast into the lake of fire.
So How Do We Celebrate Sukkot?
Only the first day and the last day (8th day) are commanded convocations (assemblies). The rest of the time should be spent in an early morning and evening prayer AND festivities. Many members use this time for their family vacation. They give gifts (not exchange gifts), go out to eat, purchase much needed items for the family, etc. . . The first and last days should be treated like THE SABBATH DAYS that they are. There should always be a parallel analogy being taught and remembered concerning The Days of All of The Feast(s) (and other Annual Sabbaths) and the future time that they symbolize. The Feast of Tabernacles symbolizes The Sabbath Millennium wherein there is only love and caring, and evil has been removed from the Earth (temporarily). Therefore, make it fun, but keep it righteous and good.
