Cybele . . . Rhea and Mother Earth.
From Pre-classic Greece to early Christian times she represented Gaia, Rhea, and "Mother Earth". Additionally, she inherited many of the attributes of the ancient Sumerian goddess Inanna . In this depiction Cybele's role is as "Magna Mater", The Great Mother of Rome, which is symbolized by her throne and the lions.
Note: Most pagan, pre-christian pagan, and liberal women's movement religions believe(d) that it is the woman who is the supreme life giver. I suggest to you that our Eternal Creator anticipated this and therefore created man first.
